Hammer, Nett, Glen, Smitty and Nav made two attempts. One by Carlson Board then one by inflatable Kayak and a large net. Success!!!! The Pelican was picked up from the East Valley Animal Shelter by The California Wildlife Center then taken to the International Bird Rescue Center. After a month of rehabilitation, the Pelican was released last Saturday.
