Trial run of a flat bottomed pirogue "cajun canoe" built with 5mm luaun plywood using stitch and glue epoxy and fiberglass construction. This was easy to put together and the trial run went pretty well. I had been thinking of building a nesting 4 part boat every since I built a 3 part row boat about 6 years ago. It has been long enough time that I had forgotten how fun fiberglass and epoxy is to work with. Anyway, I'm not getting any younger so an easy to carry and transport boat is handy and this is much faster than my inflatable kayak. I may just give my older pirogue the saw treatment.
